Our Preschool

Laguna Parent Participation Preschool is a unique opportunity for parents who want to be actively involved in their child’s first educational experience. Established in 1972, Laguna Preschool is a fully licensed, cooperative preschool owned and operated by parents. Parents work at the school alongside their children under the direction of a credentialed teacher.

Our Philosophy

The goal of Laguna Parent Participation Preschool is to provide children with an environment that is rich and varied in all of its offerings. It addresses all aspects of a young child’s growth by assuring activities that are developmentally appropriate, creative, interesting and fun!

We believe that play is a child’s work and that all children learn through playing. We work to develop a child’s “sense of self”, social interaction, language skills, coordination and motor development.

Laguna Parent Participation Preschool promotes creative thinking and freedom of expression and provides a positive learning experience for the child and parent.

The Laguna Parent Participation Preschool is part of the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools, Inc. Formerly known as Niguel Parent Participation Preschool. This organization is non-profit, non-sectarian, and non-partisan, and will not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, or color.
